Account and multi-factor authentication set-up guide

Prerequisites

You will need an authenticator app installed on your smartphone. If you do not already use an authenticator app, the following are examples of common apps that can be downloaded from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android).

You can search for alternative preferred applications within each of the stores.

1. Begin the set-up

Click Get started in the welcome email you received from us to begin setting up your access to estateXchange.

2. Set your password

Enter your new password and click Reset password.

Your password must meet the following criteria:

  • At least 12 characters long
  • Include at least one lowercase letter
  • Include at least one number
  • Include at least one special character

3. Return to estateXchange

Once your password has been set, click Back to estateXchange.

4. Sign in

Tip: Bookmark the login page for quick and easy access to estateXchange in the future.

Enter your email address and click Continue, then enter the password you just created and click Continue again.

5. Set-up multi-factor authentication (MFA)

Scan the QR code (see prerequisites above).

Launch the app on your phone and choose to add a new account. This is usually done by tapping a + icon or selecting Scan a QR code.

After scanning, your authenticator app will show a 6-digit code that changes every 30 seconds.

Enter that code into the field on your computer to complete the set-up.

6. Set-up complete
